Scholarships

TU Wien supports individuals and their careers in the engineering management sector. We have currently announced the following scholarship:

 

MSc Program Engineering Management - Your key to the top engineering league

The Continuing Education Center of TU Wien is offering for the first time of a "Young Potentials" Scholarship in the amount of EUR 10,000 for the MSc Program Engineering Management. The three-semester, part-time MSc program provides you with a profound, university-based education. This scholarship is aimed at young newcomers who are looking for a combined education in the fields of engineering and business.

 

Requirements for the scholarship

  • Graduates of a bachelor's, master's or diploma program or a comparable program are eligible for the scholarship. In addition, participants with an equivalent qualification can also be admitted.
  • Max. 27 years of age
  • No work experience necessary
  • No sufficient financial means (proof of income must be provided upon request)

 

Application

Please send your application documents Application Form (PDF), opens a file in a new window, letter of motivation, curriculum vitae) to engineering@tuwien.ac.at. Applications will be considered until May 15, 2021. The scholarship in the amount of EUR 10,000 will be awarded by a jury. The scholarship holder's deductible amounts to EUR 9,900. In the course of the selection process, a personal hearing will be held by the jury. Any recourse of law is excluded.

MSc Program Engineering Management - Your key to the top engineering league

The Continuing Education Center of TU Wien support women and women’s careers in the engineering management area. Therefore, we are offering one scholarship for female participants for this MSc program. The scholarship in the amount of EUR 6,600 each will be awarded by a jury. The deductible of the scholarship holder is at least EUR 13,300 plus travel expenses and cost of room and board. Applicants will have to provide information on their past and current professional experience and state, why they are interested in this postgraduate program.

 

Admission Criteria

  • Admitted individuals must either hold an academic degree in related subjects or other qualification which can be regarded as an equivalent thereof, i.e. activities similar to those of a university graduate or relevant professional experience. A minimum of two years professional experience.
  • High motivation for participation in the MSc

 

Application

Women interested in the scholarship are kindly asked to send a complete scholarship application consisting of application form, CV, letter of motivation and certificates of previous degrees exclusively via e-mail to engineering@tuwien.ac.at by May 15, 2021 the latest. Your scholarship application consists of:

  1. What makes you interested in the program and what are your expectations?
  2. What can you contribute to the program?
  3. How do you plan to fit the schedule of the blocked lectures into your professional and private life?
  4. How do you manage the financing of the reduced tuition fee (EUR 13,300) and the travel and accommodation costs?
  5. How did you find out about the MSc Program Engineering Management?
     
  • Essay as requested in the application form (max 500 words)
     

The scholarship will be awarded by a jury. The documents submitted are treated as confidential. After reviewing the application document, applicants will be informed about further steps. The decision about the award of the scholarship will be made after a personal interview in front of a jury.

Any recourse of law is excluded.

The Continuing Education Center of TU Wien support technicians, lawyers and manager who will not only be experts in their field but also in the fields such as marketing, business management, law and engineering. In order to succeed and proceed to higher management positions, the combination of technical and economic knowledge is gaining importance. Experience with legal issues is an additionally sought-after asset. This proves that there is an increasing demand for employees with special knowledge in engineering, business management, marketing and jurisprudence.

Therefore, we are offering one “Top-League” scholarship for this MSc program. The scholarship in the amount of EUR 6,600 each will be awarded by a jury. The deductible of the scholarship holder is at least EUR 13,300 plus travel expenses and cost of room and board.
