TU Wien and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha support individuals and their careers in the renewable energy sector.

TU Wien and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha support women and women’s careers in the renewable energy sector. Therefore we offer one scholarship for female participants for this MSc program. The scholarship in the amount of EUR 5,000 each will be awarded by a jury. The participation of the scholarship holder is at least EUR 14,500 plus travel expenses and cost of room and board. Applicants will have to provide information on their past and current professional experience and state, why they are interested in this postgraduate program.

Eligibility Criteria

  • First academic degree
  • A minimum of two years professional experience 

Application

Women interested in the scholarship are kindly asked to send a complete scholarship application consisting of application form, CV, letter of motivation and certificates of previous degrees exclusively via e-mail to newenergy@tuwien.ac.at by February 15, 2021 the latest. Your scholarship application consists of:   

  • application form Scholarship for Female Leaders

  • Certificates of previous degrees (according to admission requirements for the MSc Renewable Energy Systems >)

  • CV and statement of purpose answering the following questions:

  1. What makes you interested in the program and what are your expectations?
  2. What can you contribute to the program?
  3. How do you plan to fit the schedule of the blocked lectures into your professional and private life?
  4. How do you manage the financing of the reduced tuition fee (9,500 EUR) and the travel and accommodation costs?
  5. How did you find out about the MSc Renewable Energy Systems?
  • Essay as requested in the application form (max 500 words)

The scholarship will be awarded by a jury. The documents submitted are treated as confidential. After reviewing the application document, applicants will be informed about further steps. The decision about the award of the scholarship will be made after a personal interview in front of a jury.

Any recourse of law is excluded.

Therefore, we offer a scholarship for this MSc program addressed to people with a green mindset and future-oriented thinking who are eager to change their current career path and gain ground in the field of renewable energies.

During the application process, applicants have to submit an essay on their motivational factors, fields of interests concerning questions of sustainability and their thoughts and beliefs in relation to a green future. Applicants will have to provide information on their past and current professional experience and state, why they are interested in this change of their career path.

The scholarship in the amount of EUR 5,000 will be awarded by a jury. The participation of the scholarship holder is EUR 14,500 plus travel expenses and cost of room and board.

Eligibility Criteria

  • First academic degree
  • A minimum of two years professional experience
  • Prior career is not within the renewable energy field and candidate gives a clear view on career change goals

Your scholarship application consists of:

  • application form Green Future Scholarship
  • CV
  • Certificates of previous degrees (according to admission requirements for the MSc Renewable Energy Systems)
  • Proof of working experience
  • Copy of passport & one passport foto
  • Statement of purpose answering the following questions:
  1. What makes you interested in the program and what are your expectations?
  2. What can you contribute to the program?
  3. How do you plan to fit the schedule of the blocked lectures into your professional and private life?
  4. How do you manage the financing of the reduced tuition fee (9,500 EUR) and the travel and accommodation costs?
  5. How did you find out about the MSc Renewable Energy Systems?
  • Essay (500 words max) as requested on application form.

After reviewing the application document, applicants will be informed about further steps. The decision about the award of the scholarship will be made after a personal interview in front of a jury. Any recourse of law is excluded.
