Dr. Hummel studied at the University of applied science Konstanz, faculty for mechanical engineering and received diploma in mechanical engineering Dipl.-Ing. (FH). She made external doctoral studies at the Wroclaw University of Technology and at the  Institute of Production Engineering and
Automation. She got the Dr.-Ing.degree in November 2002. She is Professor at the Reutling University, Germany.

Fraunhofer Austria Research GmbH

Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava

He studied Mechanical Engineering with the concentration of Transport Technology and Automobiles at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and received the PhD Degree from the same university with the work in the field of Therman machine and equipment and combustion engines. In 1983 he was appointed as Associate Professor. He is now Professor and guarantor of the study programme of automobiles, ships and combustion engines in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the STU Bratislava.

His focus of teaching & main research fields are  Advanced Gas Dynamics, Design of Combustion Engines, Mobility, Transport - Energy Sources - Auto-mobility and Environmental Policy – global & regional, TLC of cars, strategy and auto industry.

He spent several months abroad, for examples, at the Moscow University of Transport (1986), at the TH Darmstadt (1988), TU in Madrid and Valencia (1989), at the Universidad Nova de Lisbon (1990) and ETH Zürich (Institute of Energy Technology - 1991).

He was member and chairman of several councils and congresses, like

  • since  1989  the member of Council of FISITA (world federation of national societies of automotive engineers).
  • since 2008  the member of Executive Board of FEANI (European Federation of National Engineering Association)
  • chairman of Automotive European Congress 2001 and 2009 in Bratislava
  • member of int. Committees of several congresses in European Countries

He gives yearly 5 ~10 invited lectures for companies, branches abroad.

Loras College

Prof. Lehman studied Economics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and received Master and Phd Degree from University of Rochester, M.A.. He came Alaska in 2002 after teaching at a dozen universities and a couple of stints in private industry. He is author of several books and many publications.

Since 2002 he is Director of MBA ICT Program and Professor of Economics at the Alaska Pacific University. He is the winner of Outstanding Faculty Award 2006- 2007.

Fraunhofer Austria Research GmbH

ESB Business School/Reutlingen University

He studied mechanical engineering and got Dipl.-Ing. degree from the University Stuttgart. In 1997 he joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA in Stuttgart. Since 2004 he is the head of the Fraunhofer Project Group for production and logistics management in Vienna.
Since 2006 he gives a lecture "automotive logistics" at the Vienna University of Technology.

His research topics are

TU Wien and Fraunhofer Austria Research GmbH

Professor Wilfried Sihn was born in Pforzheim, Germany, in 1955. From 1976 to 1982 he studied Business Engineering at the TH Karlsruhe. He earned his doctorate from the University of Stuttgart in 1992. In 1982 he started working at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart, first as a Research Fellow, then as a Group Manager, Head of Department and Division Director, and from 2000 as Deputy Director.

In September 2004 he joined the Vienna University of Technology to work as Professor for Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Institute of Management Science. Since March 2009 he is head of this institute.

In May 2007 he earned a honorary doctorate (Dr.h.c.) of the University in Skopje/Macedonia.

Professor Sihn has been active in the field of applied Research and consulting services for more than 25 years now, taking part in more than 300 industrial projects. His areas of expertise include production management, corporate organization, enterprise logistics, factory planning, order management, life-cycle management, maintenance, modelling and simulation, and business process reengineering. In addition, he led projects in the fields of business structuring and business controlling. Although most of his projects took place in Germany, they also involved partners from the rest of Europe, Africa, China, Southeast Asia and the USA. Professor Sihn was instrumental in developing such concepts as the Fractal Company and Decentralized Equipment and Process Responsibility, which have been successfully implemented in a variety of areas such as the automotive sector, aerospace, electrical and electronics industry, shipbuilding, and public administration.

Professor Sihn is Vice-President of the “International Society of Agile Manufacturing” and International Editor of the journal „Agility and Global Competition”, as well as Guest Editor of the „International Journal of Technology Management (IJTM)”. He holds lectures on the above-mentioned topics at national and international conferences. His more than 200 publications also include several books, making him an active player in scientific and practice-related discussions.

He directs the Austrian Scientific Plattform for Logistics (WissLog) and is board and chair member of the Austrian Logistics Association (BVL). Furthermore he is member of multiple boards of directors and boards of administration as well as member of the European Academy for Industrial Management (AIM).
In February 2006, Professor Sihn was invited to become a member of the „International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP)”.
In November 2008 he was appointed Managing director of the newly found Fraunhofer Austria Research GmbH and manages the Fraunhofer Project Center Production and Logistics Management in Vienna.
Since March 2009 he is Academic Director of the new transnational MBA Automotive Industry Program of the Vienna University of Technology in cooperation with the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

Prof. Stocker received his Master degree in international Trade and his Dr. Degree in economics from the University of Economics and Business Administration Vienna. He was Assistant Professor in Economics at the Institute for Economic Theory and Policy at the University of Economics and Business Administration, Vienna. Since 1994 he is Head of the Department of Economics at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt. From 1997 to 2008 he was Dean of the Degree Programme Business Consultancy at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt.

His research and teaching interests are Micro- and Macroeconomics, History of Economic Thought and Political Economy, Environmental and Managerial Economics, Economics of European Monetary Union and Financial Markets. He has published several books on these issues.
