Owner of the Advisory Bureau for change management in business information processing and organization; Sworn and certified court expert for IT, software, organization, project management etc. registered by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice; Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) of the ISACA, Certified Management Consultant (CMC) at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, assessor for processes according to SPICE / ISO 15504; a member of the Institute of Internal Audit and STEV, the society for software quality management;

After studying mathematics at the University of Technology in Graz and in Vienna Edmund-Gerhard Schruempf worked as head of IT and organization (CIOO) as well as CEO in various large companies. Since 1984 he has been appointed sworn expert.

Since 1993 he is running the Advisory Bureau which deals with planning, tendering, as well as audits and rescue of major change projects for the introduction of new corporate structures with organization, IT and logistics. Internal IT audits and in cooperation with financial auditors are also performed. In these mandates Edmund-Gerhard Schruempf held various positions on the part of the client and contractor as well as a court expert.

In the context of more than 200 mandates, he has acted in CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) for retail chains, service, utility and industrial companies in the introduction or restoration of major projects, in the public sector, he worked for several Austrian ministries and state governments and by the European Commission as an evaluator and project reviewer active.

Since 2012, Edmund-Gerhard Schruempf also works for the Office of Internal Audit of JOANNEUM RESEARCH and addresses issues like the risk-based auditing of R & D projects.

Speaker at international meeting and training events, publications, lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Campus 02, etc.

Scientific interest for "Sustainable control" in the context of risk and causality, as well as risk analysis and crisis management in change projects.
