Lilach  Nachum,  Professor of International Business and Management, Baruch
College, City University New York.
Professor  Nachumâ€â„¢s  major  professional  interests  and  expertise are the
theory  of  the  MNE  and  its  distinctiveness  as an organizational form,
technology  and  value creation across distance, and location decisions and
firmsâ€â„¢  strategy.  She is the author of two books and a number of articles,
published   in   leading  professional  journals,  such  as  the  Strategic
Management Journal and the Journal of International Business Studies, among
others.
Prior  to  joining  Baruch  College  in 2002, Professor Nachum was a Senior
Research  Fellow  at  Cambridge  University, UK. Earlier, she held a Senior
Member  position  in  the  Research  Division  on  Foreign  Investment  and
Transnational Corporations at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. In
conjunction  with  these  positions,  Professor  Nachum  has been acting as
consultant  to  a  number  of  national  and  international  organizations,
including  the United Nations, the World Bank, the European Union, London's
Westminster  City  Council.  She  has  been  holding  visiting research and
teaching  positions  at  universities in Austria, China, Hong-Kong, Israel,
Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the UK.
