Mag. Geraldine Emberger

European Commission

Geraldine Emberger studied Law (specialisation: EC Law and Public International Law) at the University of Vienna, at the Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands as well as in Salzburg and Washington.

She started her professional career at the European Commission. After some years at the Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Austria, where she was working at the Department for International Law and the EU Affairs Department, she returned in 1998 to the European Commission in Brussels. In her current position in the International Relations Unit Geraldine Emberger is responsible for relations with OECD and the International Competition Network (ICN), bilateral relations and cooperations with South Korea and Latin America.
