Marc Schütze has been an attorney at Piepenbrock Schuster Rechtsanwälte since January 2002 and became a partner in 2005. After studying Law, Philosophy and Sociology he was senior research assistant at the University of Heidelberg. After completing the statutory period of practical legal training Marc Schütze spent just under two years as an attorney with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Düsseldorf. During this time, he dealt with regulatory and contractual issues for national and international telecommunications companies. His special field also included questions of media law and environmental law. Following this, Marc Schütze worked in the New York office of a large American business law firm (McDermott, Will & Emery) until the end of 2001. Mr. Schützes current special field lies in the regulatory sector. He is a visiting teaching lecturer at the University of Düsselorf for telecommunications law.
