"Die Presse"-Scholarship in the amount of EURO 17,000

The shortage of environmental resources and the dealing with pollution are challenges which the international society of the 21st century has to face. Climate change, water shortage and air pollution are only some of the problems which have to be solved. The purpose of a sustainable development can be reached only if decision makers dispose of a comprehensive education.

The cooperation between the Vienna University of Technology and the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna allows this specialized education in the area of technology, the international environmental policy and the management of environmental questions.

As in the past five years the daily newspaper “Die Presse” again awards a scholarship in the amount of EUR 17,000 this year and thus contributes indirectly to the solution of problems relevant for environment at an international level, because the scholarship holder is offered a continuing education possibility in terms of “High flying careers for a better environment”.
