Three Happy Winners of the "Die Presse" Scholarships: Professional MBA Automotive Industry

The daily newspaper “Die Presse” supports with scholarships young talented professionals of the automotive and component supply industries.

For the fifth time the hearing for the "Die Presse Scholarship" took place on April 16, 2015 at the Vienna University of Technology. Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Jozef Balat (INTEVA PRODUCTS, Slovakia), Leo Höppel, MSc (Project Manager, Magna Powertrain AG & Co KG, Austria) and Dipl.-Ing. Naresh Laddha (Project Planning Manager, AVL List, Austria) convinced with their motivation and professional background the jury which consisted of Univ. Prof. Dr. Wilfried Sihn (Academic Director, Vienna University of Technology), Univ. Prof. Dr. Jan Lesinsky (Academic Director, Slovak Technical University in Bratislava), Alexandra Ahorn (Die Presse) and Dr. Man Wook Han (Program Manager, Vienna University of Technology).

Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Jozef Balat studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Zvolen. He has more than 10 years of experience in design, production and mainly quality field with leadership positions for OEM, TIER1 & TIER 2 suppliers. Now he works as Quality Management System Manager for Europe at INTEVA PRODUCTS, Slovakia. With the MBA Program he wants to expand his knowledge of management, especially identifying short-term and long-term challenges, structuring complex and dynamic projects, making the right decisions in complex and difficult situations and staying abreast of both national and international changes in the dynamic sector of the automotive industry.

Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Naresh Laddha, is born in India and studied mechanical engineering in India. He has more than 22 year’s professional experience in the automobile industry in India and Austria. He is now working at AVL List GmbH in Graz. With his technical background he can understand the customer’s needs, but more and more the knowledge of business administration is necessary, such as market analysis, financing and economics, business standards across globe and others.

Mr. Leo Höppel, MSc  finished the Master Degree program “Mechatronics/Microsystems Engineering” at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt. With the MBA program he wants to improve his leadership skills, get an in-depth knowledge of important management topics and to meet international experts of the automotive industry.

Early Bird Bonus for Professional MBA Automotive Industry is available until April 30, 2015!

Applications received before April 30, 2015 are eligible for a 10% Early Bird Bonus on the total tuition fee. With the Early Bird Bonus the tuition fee amounts to EUR 18,000 instead of EUR 20,000. For each student, only one bonus can be claimed. No further discounts possible.
