The first Woman Scholarship of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava was awarded.

The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava will grant for the seventh program of the Professional MBA Automotive Industry one scholarship for women from Slovakia in amount of EUR 2,000.

First Woman Applicant scholarship was awarded to Mrs. MSc. Michaela Ploszeková.  She graduated as A-level student from Environmental Geochemistry at Comenius University in Bratislava with award by rector for her master thesis. She has 8 years experiences as an environmental specialist in Volkswagen Slovakia, were she is now the Head of Environmental Department. She is successfully leading a few environmental strategy development and establishment projects in Volkswagen, just to mention one of them „Think Blue Factory“, which result is by 2014 reduction of the environmental burden by 59% compared to planned 25% from 2010 to 2018. She is also a member of Environmental Legislative committee at Automotive Industry association of the Slovak Republic and the Head of the Slovak National Technical Working Group for the revision of Surface Treatment using Organic Solvents BREF Document (STS BREF) in the European Commission. The MBA Program from her point of view combines important factors – relevant topics, cross connections and the invaluable view of top managers from praxis. With the program she would like to take the opportunity to discuss the demands really important for the future – global collaboration, efficiency in the production as well as the change management.
