Last Call: Sustainable Construction

Apply now for the joint master program of the TU Wien and the TU Graz.
Next program start on November 10, 2016. Applications are still possible!

Sustainable construction is an important trend in the construction industry, to which the technical universities in Vienna and Graz respond with their continuing education program offer.

The aim of this university course (Note: taught in German only.) is to generate an awareness of holistic lifecycle-oriented approaches to construction based on the three-pillar model of sustainability. This means that graduates will be in a position to implement the principles of ecological, economic and socio-cultural sustainability in project development and design and realisation, as well as in the operation and demolition of building structures.

„Excellent architecture is sustainable. Excellent technology supports it in an optimal way. As a result of this combination of architecture and engineering buildings arise that are future-oriented, environmentally friendly and comfortable to live in“, explains Karin Stieldorf, who is Professor at the Department for Architecture and Design at the TU Wien and Academic Director of the master’s degree program.

This part-time study program is offered as a Master’s course (4 semesters) or as a certified course (2 semesters).
