Professional MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation at MIT

Professional MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the MIT

Getting at least a grasp of the American way of doing business and pushing innovation is the main focus of the field trip to Boston, Cambridge and New York City organized within the Professional MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation. This year, the participants of the classes 2015-2017 and 2016-2018 had the chance to get invaluable insights into the vibrant and unique “innovation ecosystem” in the United States.

The participants enjoyed exclusive lectures by leading international researchers at renowned institutions. Just to name a few: “Democratizing Innovation” by Prof. Eric von Hippel at the MIT Sloan School of Management, “Design Thinking and Managing Internal Innovation” by Prof. Ariel Dora Stern at the Harvard Business School, “Corporate Entrepreneurships” by Prof. Jay Rao at the Babson College. This year the participants also had the chance to meet Dr. Roland Pellenq, a renowned scientist at the MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub.

Among other events were a company visit at Formlabs – an emerging 3D printing start-up, and visits at conferences about Virtual Reality and Virtualization in New York City – JUMP INTO THE LIGHT and Eventful Forum 2017 Conference.

It was a great week in a fascinating environment with great people: all in all, the field trip was an amazing and memorable experience. We captured some great moments and shared it in an album for you to see.
