Studying in New York? The General Management MBA offers this possibility and takes you to the Big Apple

In the third and flexible specialization semester of the General Management MBA, a cooperation between TU Wien and the Danube University Krems, you can determine your own priorities and organize your studies according to your needs. Among other options, students can spend the fall semester at Baruch College of the City University in New York.

Maximilian Hofbauer, participant of the Class 2016-2018, took the chance and studied at Baruch College as visiting exchange student in autumn 2017. The semester abroad was a great experience and Maximilian Hofbauer returned to Vienna enthusiastically.

The professors at Baruch College were excellent and the lectures characterized by a high degree of interaction. In general, the support at Baruch College was very satisfying. The Baruch Study Abroad Office hosted a Welcome Event/Orientation at the beginning of the semester, which offered the chance for networking and meeting other exchange students.

In addition to the lectures and events, organized by the Baruch College, life in New York was very exciting. After four months in New York, you are still discovering new places and getting to know the city from a new side every day, Maximilian Hofbauer explained after his return. The semester abroad in New York has given him the opportunity to look beyond the European horizon and deepen his knowledge during the full-time study.
