“OIZ“ Scholarship for the Professional MBA Facility Management


Properties are an important cost factor for companies. Therefore up-to-date facility management, such as the integrated management of buildings and facilities, is immensely important in a highly competitive market if you want to have the leading edge. The Postgraduate Professional MBA Program provides up-to-date know-how in the fields of management, engineering, law, economics, and ecology.

By November 20, 2008 the Professional MBA Facility Management will start the second time, therefore “Österreichische Immobilien Zeitung- OIZ” awards a scholarship in the amount of EUR 15,000. The postgraduate part-time program lasts 4 semesters, is organised in modules and held in German and English.

• Facility Management: Strategic – Tactical – Operative
• Facility Services and their Management
• Management, Organisation and Organisational Development
• Project Management
• Tools of Business Administration
• Legal Compliance
• Data Structures and IT-Support in Facility Management
• Projects, Case Studies and Master Thesis

Target group
Designed preferably for individuals in control of budgets and personnel who are interested in comprehending the complexity of managing buildings and facilities and already have gained professional experience in this field of work. Admitted individuals must either hold an appropriate first academic degree or a similar qualification which can be regarded as an equivalent thereof and must have at least two years of professional experience.

Application
Individuals interested in the scholarship are kindly asked to send their application documents (CV and a motivation letter) in German to office(at)fishmedia.at by September 30, 2008 the latest. The scholarship will be awarded by a panel of experts. EUR 4,500 have to be paid on the scholarship holder's own risk. There is no legal recourse; the gainer will be informed.
