27 experts in “Renewable Energy” graduated

MSc Program “Renewable Energy in Central & Eastern Europe”

On November 13, 2009 27 students of the cross-border MSc Program “Renewable Energy in Central & Eastern Europe” finished their studies sucessfully and graduated. The ceremony was opened by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gerhard Schimak. Then the keynote speaker Dipl.iur. Mislav Laktic, LL.M., lawyer at Laktic & Partner Law Office in Zagreb, Croatia, and specialized on environmental law, talked about renewables and legal frameworks especially in Croatia. Representing the alumni Mag. Martin Lugmayr, MSc, retrospectively looked back on two exciting years full with a lot of work and characterized by new perspectives and good networking. The highlight of the evening of course was handing over the diplomas to the 27 new graduates by the Academic Director Prof. Dr. Reinhard Haas. He give his special thanks to the students, because this class 2007-2009 was his first class he accompanied from the beginning on and he asked the graduates to keep contact.
