Raiffeisen Scholarship for innovative Master Program

Renewable Energy in Central and Eastern Europe


For many years Raiffeisen Banking Group has been involved in the financing of projects and facilities producing alternative and renewable energy forms, investing in biodiesel, bioethanol, biogas, biomass, geothermal, photovoltaic, hydro-electric and wind energy plants.

Furthermore Raiffeisen Banking Group awards two scholarships to the outstanding MSc Program “Renewable Energy in Central and Eastern Europe” to participants from emerging markets, primarily from Eastern and South Eastern Europe.

The grants in the amount of EUR 10,000 each will be awarded by a jury. The participation of the scholarship holders are EUR 7,500. Any recourse of law is excluded. The winner will be informed.

This MSc Program is the first cross-border postgraduate program in Austria dealing with the future issues of alternative energy production. It is conducted by the Vienna University of Technology in cooperation with Energiepark Bruck/Leitha. Contributions will be made by several universities and energy agencies from Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. The final degree Master of Science (MSc) is granted by the Vienna University of Technology.

Admitted are individuals holding an academic degree. Persons with an equivalent educational and professional qualification may also be admitted.
