DER STANDARD awarded a scholarship for the General Management MBA

Lucky winner, pleased jury


Doris Schnepf is the lucky winner of the scholarship, which was awarded by the daily newspaper DER STANDARD for the postgraduate Program General Management MBA.

Due to a number of qualified applications decision making was a difficult job for the selection committee, which consisted of Wolfgang Aussenegg, Sabine Schnetzinger (both TU Vienna), Andrea Höltl (Danube University Krems) as well as Andreas Berger (former Director of Corporate Human Resources at RHI). Finally the judging panel was convinced by the performance of Doris Schnepf during the hearing and awarded to her the scholarship in the amount of € 18.900.

About two years ago the Alumna of BOKU Vienna founded a small company called Hydrip GmbH, which deals with Sustainable Irrigation. As all of the members of the company-team are specialists in deveoloping their products, a manger with profound knowledge in Business Administration and Management Skills is needed. Ms Schnepf is also mother of a 10-years-old daughter, and is eager to take the chance to get a management position with new responsibilities in business and law at Hydrip.

Doris Schnepf is curious about the program, which will start on October 15th, 2010, for the 11th time. She is looking forward to using the contents of the all of the modules in her daily work. Moreover an important fact for her is to exchange knowledge with his future classmates in order to get to know different methods of problem solving.
