International award for real estate-programs of the TU Vienna

The CEPI-label is awarded to the Vienna University of Technology for their continuing education programs in real estate.

The importance of quality assurance and accreditation in postgraduate education has increased significantly in recent years, due to the enormous growth that has characterized continuing education as a whole. Given the ever-increasing range of studies on offer, recognized quality marks and seals of approval are major criteria for potential candidates in making an informed choice of a continuing education course that is of high quality and also meets their aspirations.

"We are very pleased about being awarded the international CEPI-label as the first university in Austria. It shows that our real estate-programs meet the high demands of the European market," so Mag. Petra Aigner, Managing Director of the Continuing Education Center, TU Vienna. "Being awarded the CEPI-Certificate is a great success for the Continuing Education Center. The certification of our programs will strengthen the position of our graduates not only at national level, but also at European level", emphasizes Univ.Prof. Dr. Bob Martens, academic director of two real estate-programs at the Continuing Education Center, TU Vienna.

The CEPI (European Council of Real Estate Professions), based in Brussels, is the largest and foremost association for real estate professionals in Europe. The CEPI represents over 40 national real estate-associations in over 25 countries in the European Union, thus bringing together the expertise of more than 200.000 real estate-experts. Beside, the CEPI aims to ensure the high European quality standard of further education for real estate professionals.

The TU Vienna successfully offers real estate-programs for over 20 years. The CEPI-label is awarded to the postgraduate MSc-program "Real Estate Management & Valuation" (4 semesters, part-time, in German, accredited by RICS), to the postgraduate Professional MBA-program "Facility Management" (4 semesters, part-time, in German and English, accredited by FIBAA) and also to the certified program "Real Estate Management" (4 semesters, part-time, in German).
