Prof. Wolfgang Gawlik – Lecturer of „Marine Power Plants“

at the MSc program „Renewable Energy in Central & Eastern Europe“

Starting with the next class in October 2012 the curriculum of the postgraduate MSc program „Renewable Energy in Central & Eastern Europe“ has been reshaped. New actual topics, like „marine power plants“ will be included.
This lecture will be held by Wolfgang Gawlik, who is engaged at the Institute of Energy Systems and Electrical Drives (TU Vienna) since October 2011. On June 6, 2012 he held his inaugural lecture:

The Academic Director of the MSc program is proud to present Wolfgang Gawlik as the new lecturer of this exciting topic of „Marine Power Plants“:
Wolfgang Gawlik studied Electrical Engineering at the University Erlangen-Nürnberg. He was constructing engineer of turbo-generators and deputy team leader at Siemens AG. His PhD thesis dealt with harmonic compensators. His next career step was Senior Key Expert System Dynamics and Project Manager at Siemens AG, Power Technologies International in the field of network planning and analysis.
