NEW postgraduate Master of Engineering International Construction Project Management der TU Wien

The part-time program is presented in modules and takes four semesters. The language of instruction is English and the final degree, granted by the Vienna University of Technology is Master of Engineering (MEng). The program focuses on individuals with a first academic degree and professional experience of at least three years in a relevant area of specialty (especially engineering and other construction affin fields such as financing, economics, construction law, etc.).

Due to the wide range of topics and its international orientation students are equipped with specific theoretical knowlegde, project management tools and fundamental economic knowledge in the field of construction project management, in order to be prepared for the challenges in this highly complex field. Furthermore group discussions and case studies ensure practical relevance and the posssiblity of implementation in the professional environment of the students.

Two international workshops are held, (London and Istanbul) focusing on the special features of construction project management and their implementation. Within these workshops students have the unique opportunity to learn first-hand about local construction projects and to discuss them in-depth. In addition, valuable contacts to local enterprises can be established.
