Scholarships for Women: MSc Renewable Energy in Central & Eastern Europe


Energize your future!

For the past ten years the Vienna University of Technology and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha have successfully been offering the postgraduate MSc Program Renewable Energy in Central & Eastern Europe. This program is the first cross-border course in Austria dealing with the future issues of alternative energy production. Three aspects have been given special consideration: Technical Innovations, Management of Sustainable Energy Systems, and EU-Extension and Legal Basics.

With this comprehensive education in the field of renewable energy you´ll acquire knowledge and competence for planning with regard to the use of renewable energy, for economically and technically expediently operating plants for the use of renewable energy, and for assessing technical and economical opportunities to use renewable energy.

Scholarships for Women
TU Vienna and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha support women and women’s advancement in careers and in the frame of this MSc program are offering scholarships for female participants holding an academic degree in a relevant area of specialty and a minimum of 2 years professional experience. The two scholarships in the amount of EUR 6,500 each will be awarded by a jury. The participation of the scholarship holder is EUR 13,000. Any recourses of law are excluded. The most qualified applicants will be invited to a hearing. The next program start will be on October 15, 2015.

Women interested in the scholarships are kindly asked to send a complete scholarship application consisting of application form, CV and letter of motivation exclusively by e-mail to newenergy(at)tuwien.ac.at by April 15, 2015 the latest.
The scholarships will be awarded by a jury. Applicants will be invited for an interview. Any recourse of law is excluded.
