Graduation ceremony of the 7th ETIA programme – Presentation of the ARA Best Study Award


On the occasion of the graduation of the MSc postgraduate Programme „Environmental Technology and International Affairs“ the „ARA Best Study Award“ was granted for the sixth time – the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology congratulate the winners and alumni

On 29 June 2015, the graduation of the postgraduate programme „Environmental Technology and International Affairs“ (ETIA) took place at the Festsaal of the TU Wien.
22 students from 9 countries participated in the MSc programme.

Prof. Dr. Bob Martens, Vice Director of the Continuing Education Center at the Vienna University of Technology guided the ceremony and congratulated all students.
Ambassador Dr. Hans Winkler, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna expressed his thanks towards the sponsors and the administration. He will present the program on the occasion of the UNO Panel on Sustainable Development in New York.
In his festive speech, Prof. Paul H. Brunner pointed out that we stand at the beginning of a new edge, the edge of solar energy and explained a current experiment in this field.

Hon.Prof. Dr. Christoph Scharff, CEO der ARA congratulated the winner of this year´s ARA Best Study Award Lisa BUTZENLECHNER to her outstanding performance as best student of this year´s cohort.

On behalf of the Alumni the group speakers thanked all, especially the families and friends for their support throughout the intense study period.
