Most international class ever in this year´s anniversary year

On October 15, 2015 the unique cross-border postgraduate Master Program “Renewable Energy in Central & Eastern Europe” started for the twelfth time. We would like to emphasize that in this year´s anniversary year – this MSc program was founded in 2005 - the group of students is the most international class ever.

The students of Class 2015-2017 come from 14 nations: Albania, Austria, Canada, Colombia, Iraq, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Peru, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, South Korea, and Tunisia. International students account for 93 percent of the new class.

After a short photo shooting on the roof terrace of TU Wien, while the students were braving wind and weather, Reinhard Haas (Academic Director) and his program team welcomed the students and led through the morning program.

Over coffee and cakes the students got acquainted with their future class mates. Directly afterwards they got in even closer contact with their colleagues at the first lecture of the day – “Team Building” – with Fritz Stastny. In the afternoon they took over their personal iPads and got an introduction. Subsequently the first lecture dealt with “Introduction on Renewable Energy”.

All the best to the students of class 2015-2017!
