E-mobility: Revolutionizing urban traffic!

The third ETIAtalks panel discussion of this year’s series on “Climate Change” will take place on April 28th, 2016 at 18:30h in the Festsaal at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. The event is titled: Electric cars and urban planning: on the way to climate-friendly mobility.

Fulfilling the hope of a zero emission city evidently requires reducing and eventually abandoning the car as the prime means of transport. But what will the transport of the future look like? What is the potential of the electric car in the near future and in the coming decades? Besides urban transport, how will we integrate suburbs and rural areas into e-mobility? These questions appear to be at the core of a mobility concept worthy of the 21st century.

Speakers include Ulla Rasmussen: Verkehrspolitik - International Coordination, VCÖ; Catherine Girard: Senior Manager, Environmental Strategy, Renault HQ; Christoph Link: Institute for Traffic, BOKU; Alexios Seibt: Consultant, Diplomatic Academy Vienna; David Calas: Architect, Senior Lecturer TU Vienna

Moderator: Daniel Reinhardt, Diplomatic Academy Vienna
