Ground-breaking Ceremony Energiepark Bruck/Leitha – eparella GmbH

Subsidiary of ecoduna AG launches in 2017!

Ecoduna AG, international technological leader in bio-algae production, invited to a ground-breaking ceremony on December 16, 2016 in Bruck/Leitha. eparella GmbH, a subsidiary of Ecoduna AG is a manufacturing company especially founded for building the bio-algae plant an returning the yield to the holding company.

After completion of the plant in 2017 eparella GmbH will produce high-quality bio-algae products in industrial scale and will them to the market to B2B customers worldwide. As of 2020 eparella will strive for market leadership in the field of high-quality vegan omega-3-fatty acids.

Members of provincial government were represented: Petra Bohuslav and mayor of Bruck Richard Hemmer, as well as Helmut Miernicki (managing director of ecoplus).

By the way, the topic „bio-algae“ is part of the lectures of the MSc program „Renewable Energy Systems“. In module 9 the intent of this lecture is to give an overview of the different types of biorefineries. Beside other technologies the focus is on green biorefineries (green biomass) and bioalgae. Lecturer is Michael Mandl (tbw research GmbH).
