April 26, 2017: Info-Session for Sustainable Construction

Sustainable construction is one the major trends in the construction industry which also increases the need for well-trained experts in this field. TU Wien and TU Graz have responded to this growing need with continuing education.

The aim of the university course Sustainable Construction is to generate an awareness of holistic lifecycle-oriented approaches to construction based on the three-pillar model of sustainability. This means that graduates will be in a position to implement the principles of ecological, economic and socio-cultural sustainability in the development, design and realisation of projects as well as in the operation and demolition of building structures.

The program is offered as a 4-semester Master of Engineering as well as a 2-semester university course. In partnership with the Austrian Association for Sustainable Property Management (ÖGNI), this course provides an opportunity to qualify as an auditor in this field.

On April 26, 2017 at 5.00 p.m., the Academic Director Prof. Karin Stieldorf and the Program Team will present the university course Sustainable Construction at TU Wien and will also be available for any questions after the presentation.
