On January 16th, 2017 the Engineering Management Class of 2015-2017 had the opportunity to attend an evening lecture at the Esterhazy palace, seat of the Capital Bank-Grawe Gruppe AG. The students were welcomed by Mrs. Sibylle Dolecek-Anselment, who explained the services provided by the bank, particularly regarding private equity and venture capital investments.

Capital Bank offers private investment banking products, advising its client’s in corporate finance based on their asset classes and risk profile. Besides providing an overview of the Capital Bank the reasons to invest on private equity, the lecture motivated the entrepreneurial spirit of the class. By learning about the different sectors and funding cycles that can be provided for SMEs, some of us might have found the financing solutions for our own present or future projects.

The lecture closed with a guided tour by Mrs. Sibylle Dolecek-Anselment to the magnificent rooms of the palace of the Esterhazys and the opulent art collection gathered by this prominent family.
