Continuing Education Center supports female leadership

On average, only 7 out of 100 executive managers in Austria are women. At the same time, women represent almost half of the employees in the country. However, with each management level the proportion of women in leading positions decreases. This was the result of the “Frauen.Management.Report” published by Arbeiterkammer Wien in 2017.

The International Labour Office found similar results. In their report „World Employment and Social Outlook: Trends for women 2017“. It is shown that 30% of all small and medium-sized companies worldwide are led by women whereas only 5% of the so called global players habe women as CEOs.
