Happy World Creativity and Innovation Day!

The purpose for World Creativity and Innovation Day was, and still is, to remind and encourage people to use their creativity to make the world a better place and to make their place in the world better too. The date is a placeholder, permission giver, reason to use imagination productively.

World Creativity and Innovation Day April 21 (WCID) was born on May 25, 2001, in Toronto, Canada by creativity expert Marci Segal. She thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if people knew how to use their natural ability to generate new ideas, make new decisions, take new actions and achieve new outcomes, and, to welcome imagination and new perspectives?”

Innovation always has two components: a creative idea and its implementation. What does it take? A combination of innovation and technological understanding as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting.

The organizers of the Professional MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation, TU Wien and the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), represent the link between technological excellence and business competence. This joint MBA is an important step in the transfer of cutting-edge knowledge and management skills at highest international level.

On October 15, 2018 the MBA program will start for the 13th time. Highlights include international participants and faculty members, distinguished guest speaker events and a field trip to the innovation hotspots Boston and New York City (USA).
