Last Call: extended Application Deadline – MSc Renewable Energy Systems

The MSc Program will start in November 2018 for the 15th time.

To master successfully the challenges of climate change and to sustainably reduce greenhouse gas emissions, a turnaround in the energy policy is required. To ensure a sustainable energy supply is one of the major challenges of our time. In the last decade, the share of renewable energy sources has increased significantly. In the foreseeable future, this trend will continue. This presents the energy sector with major challenges: decentralisation, digitalisation and democratisation are lasting changes to the energy sector.

The integration of renewable energy into the existing system is developing into central topic in the energy sector. In order to stay competitive on the market, specialists able to deal with the new challenges of companies concerning energy are needed.

The interdisciplinary part-time MSc Program Renewable Energy Systems, offered by TU Wien in cooperation with Energiepark Bruck/Leitha, provides you with the required know-how. It is the first cross-border course in Europe dealing with the future issues of alternative energy production.

With this comprehensive education in the field of renewable energy, you acquire knowledge and competence for the design of plants for the use of renewable energy sources from an economic and legal point-of-view, the operation of plants and the future assessment of environmental, technical and economic developments of renewable energy systems.

Due to its time structure, this program is perfectly compatible with your job and education. It´s practice-orientated and interdisciplinary and is attuned to the special needs of the renewable energy sector.
