The postgraduate Master Program Healthcare Facilities (MSc) of the Medical University of Vienna and TU Wien represents a unique, interdisciplinary education for experts of different disciplines. The Master Program pursues a holistic approach to the conception, planning, construction, operation and management of healthcare facilities in the service of patients.
The postgraduate course is characterised by the cooperation between the fields of architecture and spatial planning, business organisation and medicine, which is reflected in the cooperation between the TU Wien and the Medical University of Vienna. The students benefit from the know-how, the network and the experience in postgraduate education of both renowned universities.

The aim of the Master program is to impart interdisciplinary, international knowledge and its application for successful and sustainable planning, design and restructuring of healthcare facilities.
The contents of the MSc Program are divided into modules and are presented in part-time attendance phases. Acquired knowledge is implemented interactively in practice-oriented labs. Field trips offer insights into the practice of healthcare facilities.

The postgraduate Master Program Healthcare Facilities (MSc) is targeted in particular at architects, engineers, medical doctors and specialists, nursing staff, health and healthcare managers, physicists and computer scientists involved in the planning and design of healthcare.

In exceptional cases, persons with an equivalent qualification may also be admitted. This is the case for participants who have comparable qualifications due to their professional activities, experience and achievements, and successfully completed at least 60 ECTS or equivalent credits in relevant courses.
